A 360 cm 5:5 Fujiryu would be more soft than the Iwana, while a 6:4 360 cm Fujiryu would be similar very similar to the Iwana. So it depends on what you want. Do you like stiffer rods (by your other rod choices I'd say yes), or do you want to break with what you've got and go for a much more dynamic, full flex rod. Either way, you really can't go wrong with the Fujiryu IMO.Tom Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18240935660681343164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4952460912398461727.post-81535901143563972242015-09-21T17:28:41.598-07:002015-09-21T17:28:41.598-07:00I have been looking at the Fujiryu to replace my 1...I have been looking at the Fujiryu to replace my 12' Iwanna. I just purchased a royal stage 7:3 400 and a Daiwa Kiyose 43M. Do you think the Fujiryu would help round out my quiver?Gray Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03822513976602846825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4952460912398461727.post-68812688568527671192015-09-20T17:29:53.022-07:002015-09-20T17:29:53.022-07:00Thanks!Thanks!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07321427086336320211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4952460912398461727.post-70056301592709334042015-09-20T16:41:23.512-07:002015-09-20T16:41:23.512-07:00The Fujiryu is a little softer rod which fit the f...The Fujiryu is a little softer rod which fit the fish size better. Also it cast better with a #3.5 line and unweighted fly. It is a 360 cm rod but in reality it is 373 cm fully extended. It has just a little more reach. I'll be writing a full review soon; I've just been lazy!Tom Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18240935660681343164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4952460912398461727.post-46755292649342401682015-09-20T08:38:25.137-07:002015-09-20T08:38:25.137-07:00Thanks for another enjoyable video. What was it about the stream that made you feel the Fujiryu (at 5:5) was better suited then the Zerosum (7:3)? I haven't seen much written about the Fujiryu other than what is on TenkaraBum's website.

ShawnAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07321427086336320211noreply@blogger.com
