Hackle (legs): Pheasant shoulder
Thorax: Semperfli dark brown Straggle String
Abd: pheasant tail
rib: gold wire, small
tag: gold wire, small




This fly has some action as well as some flash. I fish it upstream with a dead drift.

    Another nice tie Tom. Tore my casting arm rotator cuff so no fishing for awhile.

      Sorry about your shoulder, Bill. Rotator cuffs can take a while to heal. The fish will still be there when you can finally get out, though. Take time to heal!

    Hey Tom, I have been following you on youtube for a while and really enjoy the videos. And since I hadn't seen anything new for while, I popped over to check on you and what an amazing fly! I can't wait to try it out. Just started (again) to tie my own flies and having a blast! Do you have any videos on flies that you have tied?Thanks for all you do, it is really appreciated.
