Downstream Sasoi

 I don't manipulate my flies as often as I could, but recently I fished a stream where dead drift wasn't hooking up many fish. I started manipulating my kebari downstream of my position, and lo and behold, I started hooking into fish after fish! Here's the video:

    I really enjoy blog. I have noticed in recent videos that you use a sighter. Could you explain what you use for line? Thanks

    Were you pulsing the fly while holding it in place in the current or was the fly just sort of dead drifting a small pool/eddy?

      I was pulsating the fly while allowing it to slowly drift away from me with the current. Think of this as a "pause and drift, pause and drift" manipulation. Take a look at these examples: https://discourse.10colorstenkara.com/t/kebari-sasoi-tenkara-techniques/479
