Downstream Sasoi

 I don't manipulate my flies as often as I could, but recently I fished a stream where dead drift wasn't hooking up many fish. I started manipulating my kebari downstream of my position, and lo and behold, I started hooking into fish after fish! Here's the video:

  2. Were you pulsing the fly while holding it in place in the current or was the fly just sort of dead drifting a small pool/eddy?

    1. I was pulsating the fly while allowing it to slowly drift away from me with the current. Think of this as a "pause and drift, pause and drift" manipulation. Take a look at these examples: https://discourse.10colorstenkara.com/t/kebari-sasoi-tenkara-techniques/479
