Here's a teaser! The other day I visited DRAGONtail Tenkara and Brent gave me a couple rods to try out. They are the new FoxFIRE S-glass Tenkara Rods! These are some of the final test rods before the first production run is sent out.
The green looks great and the blue is very sharp looking. I think everyone will be pleased.
When I tested the first prototype I was very impressed. SO, ARE YOU READY? They will be coming soon!
Can't wait! That and my Mizuchi should have me covered!

DeleteI look forward to your assessment of these final rods vs the initial prototype from a while back. One of the things I'm noticing is that I like a lower diameter grip of my shorter rods. My grip for the delicate casts of top-water flies is less full-palm on the cork, and more focused contact with the lower part of my palm balancing different parts of fingers/thumb to control and guide the rod.
