I like fishing in winter, in fact, it is my second favorite time of year to fish. But the other day I felt cold. I'm not sure why, as I dressed the same way I always do. Still, I was cold. I therefore only fished for an hour.
The air temp wasn't that bad, nor was the water temp. Maybe it was the breeze. I'm not sure.
Anyway, here is a video of some fish that I took over 35 minutes. I took a few more trout than these but I'm trying to keep the videos shorter -- so not to bore your too much!

Your videos never fail to amaze me, and I'm going to do try more winter fishing for sure.
ReplyDeleteAn idea on the cold fingers---normally I can XC ski without gloves. The one problem I've had with unexpected cold fingers was when I was grooming the trails with a snowmobile with heated handles. After an hour of grooming I would go ski, and my hands, having shut down the internal heater, would simply freeze like never before.
